Peugeot 753 Perthus

There's one for sale on eBay (tricolour) at a starting price of £350.
Is this good value or a tad expensive? Also, does anyone
have any knowledge of inherent faults with this model/frame?

Seen that one, dont think its a Perthus model btw, think they dropped that designation with the previous model. Ive got the same or near identical model in a frameset.

I think its a tad over priced myself, but looks in mostly good condition and would make a great bike.

Go for the original grey perthus on there - only £105 at the moment and some nice components on it

I agree but unfortunately it's that side of discomfort sizewise

As with all 753 frames , watch out for someone having broken it by trying to cold set the rear triangle to take a wider wheel..

RUST . . .

is NOT your friend - the thickness of the tubes means that any rust in the wrong places will probably render the frame unsafe to ride!
