Pets

Cars are very bad for many species - badgers and hedgehogs in particular iirc.
Drive slower
Drive less
Put a bell on the cat

None of these things are hard.
Apart from driving slower obvs😉

Mick isn’t allowed out. He is just too violent. An absolute pussy cat with people but a psychotic killing machine for all other things. He would take on any dog. He might not win but the dog would need another dog to lead it around or some sort of white stick. I cannot afford the vet bills so he is confined to barracks!

Is Peggy ok?
She fought the pair of them off. I couldn't get to her as they were in the bushes. The three of them made one hell of a racket. Peggy screamed at one point ( I was quite worried ) and then went berzerk. Chased one of them off, and came back for the other one. She disappeared for about 15 minutes and reappeared looking like this and collapsed on the ground. She's got wounds all over her body, one eye closed, the other partially. She was very clingy once we got home. Took me a while to clean her up.

She seemed fine this morning. Both eyes open, one a bit winky/ twitchy. She's at my Mum's today being fussed. I think the cats might have been feral. I hope she made a mess of them.

I'm glad she's ok.

Are you sure they were cats? The amount of blood makes me think it was something bigger. Maybe worth keeping Peggy on a lead until she is well and truly recovered, the last thing you'd want is a repeat performance
