Does anyone know what this little fella might be? My son found him in the street at midnight about 3 weeks ago, obviously abandoned or stray, he stopped to look and this little thing just walked across the road, sat on my lad's feet, looked up at him and whimpered. So he brought him home 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️
No sign of any owners, no chip, no missing reports at the local police station. So he's been fed, waterered, de-bugged, vaccinated and looked after by us (and friends while we were away for a week). The vet thought there's a fair amount of bulldog in him, but then wrote "pit bull" on his vaccine card. Estimated to be little more than a month old when my son found him. We're not dog people, we live in a flat, are out all day, and my head tells me "no" - we're taking him tomorrow to see about finding a permanent home for him, although we can look after him for a while longer. But I don't know if I can give him up! He's very friendly and obviously intelligent - already knows his name, along with "sit" and "stay" in both english and spanish :D
So, does anyone know what he might be, what he's likely to grow into, and have any advice on what to do?

Be your best friend, be your best friend and be his best friend.

Any dog can be kept in an apartment if he gets enough attention and exercise.

edit; Andy if you ride your MTB alot get this on.
I have it and an extra attachment/clamp for a second bike bought second hand as they are expensive new.

Definitely some sort of bully breed, bit young to tell exactly but could be an am-staff or xl bully with the way it was left by previous owners, with time and training both will be loyal and loving companions no matter what the English media want you to believe.

Kudos to @foz jr for doing the right thing!

I go to the bank in Sheff city center once/mth.. it's so fkin depressing, what was once a buoyant highstreet with a fountain, italian cobbles underfoot and vibrant shops, now looks like a post-apocalyptic wasteland, most of the shops are boarded up, the ones which are open are either pop-ups, fixing your phone, selling bongs, vapes or cheap clothing, boxes of crisps and christmas decorations.. the doorways are full of beggars, homeless peeps, spiceheads, rolled up sleeping bags, God-grifters or all of the above.. deliveroo riders nailing it up and down without any consideration, every gennel stinks of piss with piles of shit on the floor, Oh well.. what should we expect after 14yrs of Tory rule  ..

I digress.. a couple of months ago, there was a couple in front of the bank, both skinny af, winter jackets with no socks, shouting loudly at each other, clearly living on the street In the grip of addiction.. neither of them had any front teeth, she has scabs all over her face from picking it.. from their incoherent ramblings, i got the impression they were meeting someone.. The dude had a 6week old St Bernard pup zipped up in the neck of his coat.. what flippin business do these peeps have with a £2500 dog thought i? .. ok, maybe i shouldn't jump to conclusions, toofless crack-heads might make perfectly responsible dog owners.. i don't think they'd nicked it, i'd be surprised if they could tie their own shoelaces.. even if they where swapping it for some drugs, where the heck did they get it from?

Anywhoo.. i feel better for getting that off my chest, here's a picture of my cat Lenny.

I have put off making this post. Our beloved Vinnie died last year and we got another second hand cat. He was named Jagger as he was found abandoned at a Jag Land Rover site. We didn’t much like the name and instead (keeping the theme) called him Mick.
He is a proper ring piece. The reason for this delay was we asked the charity to have him back. Our house really isn’t suitable as if he even glimpses another cat or anything up to and including bear sized dogs, he flips a switch and goes into murder mode. Huge anxiety and rage. Our garden is a cat super highway due to our having hedgehog holes in the fences.
We try to distract and calm him but he wants to fight.
It turns out nobody else wants him. He is a very friendly people cat. He will welcome strangers with a purr and is the louder most talkative cat I have ever known.

I am getting quotes for a chippie to build a tunnel from the cat flap to a large enclosure on the lawn so he can go out. He has to be kept in as neither I or the neighbours can afford constant vet bills!
