"In 2022, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These pups promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Yorkshire underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them... maybe you can hire The A-Team."

Superb

This is Barney.

At home he's the most adorable, wonderful, charming, easy-going little gentleman... with a faint whiff of ... something. Probably best not to ask.

On a walk, on a lead, he's a knob. Not aggressive, not unruly, just stubborn and silly. Likes chasing cars, lorries, motorcycles and bicycles, and rolling in big piles of shit.

Haha, he looks like he heard you say that as you typed it out :)

Over christmas a family member died from alcohol which was a surprise to us, not because of the fact he was younger than me and only in his 40's, but because like a lot of people around here, friends included, he had turned to the use of heavy drugs which more often than not takes the life. He used to get around by mobility scooter, he did not need it but it is a bit of a fad around here at the moment.

Anyway, he left behind his dog, his mum too old to take care of it properly despite asking where it is, and while in care over the holiday period the police put it in their kennels. Obviously they do not keep them long, sometimes they do transfer them to other kennels but more often than not they put them down.

Sadly no other family member was able to home the dog. We were told it was a puppy, that along with the fact it would have been upset, confused and lonely made the chance to free it and offer it a home selfish to ignore.

So, I would like to introduce you to Barney, not in fact a puppy, I guesstimate at least 18mths. He has never been off a lead while out, always trotting alongside the scooter, never ran in his life, it was funny, sad and heart-warming watching him run for the first time, not quite sure what he was meant to do, or where to go, or what the big green open space was. From what we can work out he has never had a treat, or been praised and cautious of human hands for sad reasons. As you can imagine quite a handful while he explores the new possibilities and boundaries of a new life, hopefully a better happier one.

He only needs what we all do, love.
