Go carful with that green stuff, my mum worked for the PDSA for 35yrs and said that tennis balls and sticks were the two main culprits for dogs ending up in doggy surgery..

Have a couple of friends who are vets and they say the amount of stones they take out of dogs stomachs is shocking.
 
Yup, it used to be bones.. when I was a kid, our whippet would spend hours licking the marrow out of a bone but we would to take it away before he chomped it up and swallowed the shards.

She crunches bones up too and eats whole, small, crabs off the beach and rabbit droppings, horse poo, shall I go on? She's a scavenger, born on the mean streets of Romania.
 
We've just had a call, it's in her stomach, so full operation and hopefully home tomorrow afternoon? Little bugger!
