OK, I'll say it

STEEL IS REAL

The frame is aluminium...

and i'll be the first to admit my personal feelings on that too

I agree, I'd rather ride a steel frame, infact my daily rider was an old DB Apex until it snapped :(
But I have always wanted a Klein ever since I seen one back in the very early 90's :D

Is steel better than aluminum ?
Idon't think it's the question

Why not a pepperoni on a Rascal. It's the same aluminum (6061T6).

But, for a full klein aluminum bike, I really prefer the attitude or Adroit.
The Rascal and Attitude got the same geometry. But the Rascal was made for riding it with a lassic and more flex steel fork, or a suspension fork (What a pity to put a suspension fork on an attitude or Rascal…)

Just 'cos you're back over the Channel doesn't mean I won't whip yer ass...

interesting project, might work well.

Always think the steel forks look a bit puny on the Rascal.

Fat forks are so hard to find. Only seen Peperonis once on the bay

If you do this, then both the frame and the fork will burst into flames and all of the blood in your body will spontaneously pour from your eyesockets. I've seen it happen and it aint pretty.

Don't do it. Rascals and Pinnacles have Spinner forks.

Hmmmmm, strong words indeed. Remind me though, what forks did you have on your BotE? :p

SHHHHHH!

Do you KNOW how hard it was to SEE through all that blood!?!

Besides, it only took me 2 months to buy those NOS Pepperonis that are on my Beast...

...and then another 10 months to actually put them on the bike!

By that time there was blood all over the place, I tell you! :p

And before Paramount sued Gary, Rascals were Top Guns, and had spinner forks too. ;)

That said, I firmly believe one should put whatever fork on their bike that puts a smile on their face.

I wrote a mistake  : I would write "what a pity to put a suspension fork on an attitude and on an Adroit".
Because attitude and adroit got specific mission-control headset and headtube. Attitude and Adroit need to be built with the whole frameset : frame, fork and mission control stem-bar.
On a Rascal, with the 1" headset, things are easier and give more choice : steel, suspension… ;)
