Penny for it

Late model with tangential spokes, nice condition.
Doesn't say the size though, which is fairly critical.
I'd quite like another but I live at the top of a big steep hill😪

The answer to the question

How long do I need to hold on to a retro bike before worth something?

I'd love one, but I think I'll be making on before I can afford to buy one like that. Pretty awesome bit of kit though. Perhaps a bit ordinary for most. 🤪

The kind of bike I'd have loved in my 20s, now I'm in my 50s and could afford it - it no longer feels like an appealing choice from a cool, fun or practical perspective. Probably doesn't help that I live on a hill - and have two nearly unused recumbents in the shed from indulging in similar youthful nostalgia.

Recumbents and pennys aren't great up hills.

They aren't great near groups of idle adolescent youths either iirc🤣
