just recieved a fairly large payment for a frame i have sold, and it seems i have been charged 4% fee,s? is this normal ? i agreed a price with the seller but have not recieved that amount. dose this mean the buyer has not paid the charges? or it is just normal for paypal?it seems a bit harsh being charged to recieve money

anyone had this problem ?

It's normal, the seller pays the fees unless the payment is specified that it should be a gift payment.

prolly charge you to put it in your bank aswell robbing gits.

only if under £6 i understand.
But you should have got agreement with the buyer that he pays the fees. Otherwise you pay.

you should've stated gift, or for the buyer to add the 4-5%..... bummer.

Easy fix tho. ;) refund the payment, and start again..

Paypal offer a service. You pay for that service. Simple.

Incidentally, if i was a buyer and i got a payment returned to me with instructions to pay the fees, id tell the seller to get lost.

the guy in the hairdressers round the corner will make that up for you matty....in return for a quick knee trembler over the park....
