Your account needs to be verified for Seller Protection which prevents chargebacks etc so needs to be linked!?

I add my credit card from time to time, then use paypal to pay it off and then remove my credit card. I also transfer funds to my spouse's account. My spouse only buys and does not sell so her account does not get locked.

One bad experience out of about 60 selling transactions taught me the importance of keeping a low balance in the account and not having a cc linked to the account permanently.
