And Paypal forced me to go 'Premium' so I could accept payments resulting from Ebay transactions, thereby enabling them to take their cut. :evil:
This 'gift' idea is something of a God-send!

i was only referring to the paypal service for transactions that otherwise wouldn't be as easy or (even) more expensive. the extraordinary bank charges were stopped by law in the euro zone, at least some progress.

it's not like any of the transactions on this site, i.e. related to buying and selling bike stuff, are really necessary. i often find it strange to shed out money for something that's not really needed but then complain about some ebay or paypal fees. if money is THAT tight it's not wise to spend money for old bike parts...

Unfortunately not in UK - we have a well-documented history of being ripped off by our banks. :?
