Paul Components Brakes: Worth the Hype?

I need a good set of cantis for a retro ALAN cyclo-cross build. Haver been looking at Paul Touring cantis. Got good reviews, anyone tried them out for real on the road/off?

Not tried the canti, but I do have the Mini Motos on my cross bike. I do lots of big hilly offroad rides with them and they are very powerful. A big chunk of money but they are super brakes - with the added benefit that they eliminate fork judder.

Thanks for that, that's worth knowing. I'm not going to bash this Alan CX bike, just longer distance gravel riding, but I would like to try a few laps of the local lake, which is definitely 'demanding ' in places! Good stoppers are a must for lightweight off road bikes ime.

I fitted a set of these to a customers bike. Very nicely made with the ability to micro adjust the spring tension. Sensitive to straddle cable height set up. Not noticeably superior, with regards to stopping power, to other quality low profile cantilevers.
