Pat Hanlon Road Frame 1970 Original Receipt - £375ono

I have for sale my beloved Pat Hanlon road frame, bought custom made in April of 1970. I still have the original receipt. It has probably sat in my loft for 25years, so would like it to go to a good home, where it will be ridden with pride

Forks taper from oval to round

Chromed Campagnolo dropouts front and rear, showing minimal use.

Dimensions are ( c-c ):

Top Tube: 57 cm
Seat Tube: 57cm
Head Tube: 11cm

There are a couple of chips to the paint work, one where the down tube shifter clamp went, one on the seat tube, and one where the front brake attaches to the fork. There is a longish scratch through to the primer, on the top tube.

I have had a couple of estimates to see how much it is worth, I am offering the frame at £500.

I would prefer the frame to be collected from Reading and cash paid. But I can post for £15 using parcelforce 48, buyer would need to send a cheque and it will have to clear before dispatch.

My friend John Cornillie had a Pat Hanlon on the mid 1960s. Wonder what it would be worth now.

interesting to see the vertical dropouts and shot in stays on a 70's frame. I'm therefore assuming this was specced as a timetrial frame of the day.

I can just see it now ... all drilled out components, a 56 tooth chain wheel, 28 spoke wheels and a 14-18 corncob.
