I've got the 26mhz forks too, I've just put the marzocchi on. This one has been restored by Pashley themselves so it's not ridden except for sunny days and not for trials (well nothing that would damage the paintwork etc as it's showroom condition) Pashley had to mix the paint up as it's not in use any more. I'm on the hunt for another 26 and 24 to use for trials and street respectively (if anyone has any kicking around)

Looks lovely but also seems a shame to build it up just to keep it as a museum piece! What gearing are you running? I'm interested as I'm building up an old trials bike too.

This is very cool! Love a bit of retro trials! I've just picked up a 1990 Monty T-219 and a 1996 (I think) Megamo Trial Pro 20, the Megamo is one of Eddie Tongue's old bikes. Will get some pics up soon.

Re:

Pashley still making (importing and assembling?) bikes, in what looks like a niche market or the discerning rider. www.pashley.co.uk. BikemanforU assembles one on his weblog.

Pashley have been making bikes for a very long time, the TV series was just a "we can make this" along with the fact they had some fantastic rider's giving input etc. They actually made a 20" wheeled trial bike, I've yet to find one for sale anywhere.
