I still have boxes of road stuff from when I raced in the 80s. My friend called yesterday to say he's coming up to ride this weekend, and joked that they (my other friends) were contemplating doing an intervention due to my inability to throw anything away.

Actually you do have to get rid of stuff I suppose - once had to throw a WW2 Willys Jeep engine block and body tub away - they were in a state where they were absolutely useless but it still pained me to do it :roll:

I always regret selling my first mountain bike to fund a car purchase, but luckily I now have a 99% replica of the very bike...

I had loads of bits, don't remember throwing any of it out though...
Moving out of my parents place, moving to another part of the country, renting a flat, buying a flat, selling a flat, moving back, buying a flat, etc... all the bits I had will be somewhere in between all that!! lol!

i had at least 1 h bar with 4 good ones on it yes , and i know what they make on ebay today yes


the only thing that never got chucked was a mk2 escort broadspeed kit with the alloy front bib spoiler , my mate bought it off me a couple of years ago and stuck it on his mk2 rs2000


i've seen the wings make £300 on ebay too
