Just been following a discussion on one of the many Mountain Bike groups on FB, the subject is the use of ParkTool's PPL-1 Grease & how good is it?
discuss & make your best-experienced suggestions.

I highly recommend superlube. I use it on a lot of industrial and scientific kit with great results (for over 30yrs) I use it in hub bearings and other slow moving parts.

I use the blue MobilGrease XHP 222 for bearings etc, copper grease for anything that doesn't move I might want to undo later & Pace suspension grease for Pace forks, QR spindles & anything requiring a light grease. Love those little grease guns like Pace use (but can be gotten cheaper elsewhere)

I have a big pot of Fenwick lithium assembly grease that's now unused.

blue MobilGrease XHP 222 agreed this is also an excellent lube to use, also in my stable of greases.

I just use a large syringe and copper grease. or whatever comes to hand.....

Re:

Copper grease for things like pedal threads, BB threads and as already mentioned things that might need to be undone after a while. Car type grease on things like hubs, seat posts, quill stems, headsets etc. Think I've got some Halfrauds and a tin of Comma knocking about in the garage.
