If you had put the maximum you would have been prepared to pay then the snipe can only beat you if they entered more than your maximum bid hence you would have lost it anyway.

If it's any consolation, it doesn't look like a Parkpre to me :?

That is not a Parkpre frame. The cable routing is all wrong, no extended seat tube and the stays are curvy, not straight. Maybe Litespeed as mentioned in the other thread. Early Parkpre Ti frames were made by Litespeed but that is where any connection may cease.

Looks like a 95/96 Litespeed Obed to me. Nice frame.
