Parkpre frame question

Does anyone know what ParkPre model this frame is? The decals are gone and I can't tell. Any help is welcome. Thank you.

Could be. If so, what type of frame is it? Double or triple butted? Light? What quality compared to the pro 825 or 925?

Actually its more likely a Pro 825 with all that XT and that looks like a Pulstar hub up front ....

It may very well be a Pro 825. Good point.

I want to replace the Manitou fork with a rigid fork, cantilever brakes. Any suggestions as to which fork model to get?

If it was me I`d keep the Manitou or preferably I`d switch it for a Bomber Atom Z2.If you are set on a rigid try an Exotic but make sure you have the axle to crown measurement spot on as that bike was intended for a shorter travel fork whereas most rigid forks available now are for frames with 80mm plus forks.You wouldnt regret swapping for a Z2 though....

I appreciate the recommendation. If I buy a rigid fork with a longer than necesary axle to crown size, can't it be cut down? In that case the actual size of the fork should not matter?

Its not the steerer length,its the distance between the axle and the fork crown,this is a fixed length and if you look at rigid forks you will see various axle to crown lengths.Im currently running a rigid fork on a frame designed for an 80mm suspension fork and found an axle to crown length of 440mm was ideal and didnt throw out the bike`s geometry.
