papal visit = more cyclists on Edinburgh roads

Pleasant suprise this morning on the innocent railway to be joined by so many new cyclists!

It was even nicer to cruise down an almost empty Holyrood road, round the parliament and up a "closed road section" Abbey Hill, (though I was eyeballed by every rozzer standing 50m apart).

I'd welcome daily papal visits if it was they could promise this every day.
