understandable, but I've owned a couple pair, and they are very well made; almost worth the cost of shipping, if you can't find a set for less, local.

I was thinking I may buy 10 as the shipping becomes almost reasonable per tyre. I am sure I wouldn't have any problem off loading them on here. :D and.....thanks for you confirmation on the quality - they sure look cool.

Not a bad idea
Yes, I currently have a set on my daily.

I have some lightly used one's listed at the moment on ebay, but they both have cracks in the side walls.

One is better than the other.

I lothe just throwing them away because they have not ripped and the tread is so good.

They was on a set of Shimano Deore 26" Wheels with ALESA 521-559 rims that I have also listed and was removed on Friday.

I'm new to using this site and I don't want to upset anyone. I don't know what the rules are on puting in links or even if it can be done.

But my ebay user name is djderk

I spotted the remakes myself and was impressed, but thought it was too good to be true.

Hi...thanks for that - was just looking at some of your ebay stuff - Nice old deore kit there (most is 1989 not 88 btw :D ).

With regard the tyres, I was really after some mint or remake ones.

I know what you mean about throwing stuff away though...I have some Panaracer Ibex with 90% tread left.....however I am not sure they would last 100 yds on the road before disintegrating. :?
