Oh wow. The titanium bikes don't do anything for me, but the steel offerings are gorgeous.

You've been able to get steel Panasonic track frames made in Japan through Track Supermarket. I think they're the same as basic-spec keirin frames but without NJS certification.

They've been doing the custom frame thing for years I think, just not outside of Japan.

Panasonic has never stopped doing this. It's just that they only offer the service inside Japan to Japanese people in Japanese.

I posted a really old video on the forums here a year or so ago from when Panasonic's POS system and factory was fairly new and showed their amazing computer technology.
