I'm after a pair is 3x7 rapidfire shifter pods for my daughters bike. Nothing fancy required but must work fine seen STX units go for about £15 on eBay so that'd be my top offer.

Try searching online for the modern SL-M310 Rapidfire pods. They should be cheap as chips from a UK-based internet retailer.

I plan to use them soon in a similar situation as yours. Considering the failure rates of early Rapidfire shifters, I suspect that these Altus lever shifters will likely outlast and outperform 20 year old STX.
