So these are sat in my garage gathering dust. It’s a pair of Zipp 515 rims, 26” 28 holes from 1997. They’re a carbon fairing bonded onto an alloy brake track and are in excellent condition. Built but never used, so no wear at all on the brake tracks, the carbon is in mint condition, no dents, dings or scratches, no splits or anything at the spoke holes.
Weight is 544g for one, 532g for the other (rather than the 515g that Zipp claimed). The carbon fairing is right on trend as it bulges out before meeting the brake track – kinda cool.
£200 delivered – I live in New Zealand, so this price includes the hefty courier charge (delivery about 2 weeks). I’d prefer paypal gift, but normal paypal is okay if you’d prefer. Swaps are always fun, I’m particularly after a pair of minty Flite Titaniums with the Kevlar corners (but remember that whatever you want to swap will have to find its way to NZ).
