Painting pace suspension forks

Hiya,

Possibly a really dumb question but has anyone ever seen or attempted to paint a set of RC35's or RC36's?

I'm assuming that the woven carbon on the legs means its pretty impossible?

Paint them if you want to.

wouldn't it be better to fine sand the laquer then re-laquer new?

as long as you key the lacquer properly I dont see why it would be an issue.

Might look quite cool as the texture of the carbon will probably still be visible

if you wet sand the carbon fiber first so the paint has something to stick to then you should be fine. just had to do my carbon fiber wing the same way. you can then proceed to clear or paint it just like anything else.
