I picked up a 1991 gt karakoram at the weekend it needs painted can anyone recommend a good painter for me

Hi, I've got a '91 Karakoram elite that could do with a new paint job as well, but want to replicate the original. Is yours the inferno red finish? Are you looking to replicate the original finish or something else?

Based in Aberdeen, but travel quite a bit. Quality of finish, and the ability to replicate the original finish would be more important to me than anything else.

Anyone any ideas?

I think they might do custom paint jobs, I think its been discussed on here before.
Powder Coaters are however available all over the shop.

I can recommend Shands - did a fab job on my 'nago repaint.

I also found this guy in Glasgow, who does stuff for the Rig bike shop (nice paint) and I;ve contacted regards my Peugeot Perthus, which I'm thinking about doing in a Gulf Mirage Homage.
