Pace v brake mounts

Hi,

I've currently a set of 97 RC-36 and a set of 99 RC-36 Evo 2s. The '97 have the Pace v brake mounts and i'd like to fit these onto the Evos. Thought this would be quite simple!! Unless i'm being a bit stupid!

They easily slide off the 97 RC-36, but i cannot for the life of me get them onto the Evos.

Diameter is the same, although the base of the lowers is a tad wider, is there any simple way of getting them on?

Failing that would the new ones from Pace for the RC-31s fit?

Or, although they look a bit fugly, On one do a simple bolt on set which uses the bolts for the bridge?

Ask Justbackdated on here - he's an ex-pace forks man. There is a another thread on here in the pre-97 section. Suspect you want the same ones as from the RC31's but Tim will confirm.
