PACE RC36 Pro Class 2 forks

 I know it all sounds a bit damning!

Most of the PC2s I get in for service are perfectly OK, with just the occasional broken supplementary spring now and again.
Just sometimes I get a fork that has not been serviced for a long time and ridden hard until it gives up the ghost, not just the PC2; I am just pointing out possible problem areas if that is the case. :D

My NOS PC2 measure 450mm crown/axle while the earlier Rock Shox I have here measure 420mm so not a great deal of difference. I could convert your PC2 to a short travel special custom ;)

I'm what I've seen referred to elsewhere as a bit of XC whippet anyway (10.5 stone, short) - frame is size 16 so I imagine whacking them down to 60mm wouldn't hurt. :D

The problem with this retro biking lark is that I'm looking at all the bits that were utterly out of reach back in the mid 90's and thinking... ooooh, could have one of those, and one of those (proflex here, cannondale there, couple of extra hubs). Methinks I'm going to be in trouble with my wife at some point. :D
