Pace RC35 MXCD V-brake compatibilty

Has anyone had any woes running Shimano v-brakes with RC-35 MXCDs?

The spring stop on the brake arms hit the brace on the forks.

Was there some kind of brake mount extension available to push the v-brake further out to clear the brace?

I don't recall having issues, but have seen some posts on here about some brakes not fitting due to the issue you are having. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I'll look at mine but don't recall such an issue. Have you got the correct brake mounts (did they come with the fork new?) as Pace made a number of variants, some of which I think are fork specific.

I have the original brake mounts that came with the forks from new.... and they've had v-brakes on before; but I just can't get any of the brakes I have to clear properly.

Odd. Any chance of a photo. Do they work with other brakes you might have?
