Pace RC35 : good condition or not ? your tell me

Around £300 from memory. I seem to recall my orange prestige frame + rc35 package came to around 675 from Orange around '93.

There are some price lists in the manufacturers archive.

For £55 I'd have definitely taken a chance with them.

Given how shagged they were I would say you would be much better off spending £95 or a little more from another RB'er.

I paid over £100 for these in the UK......and they needed new rubbers
Well yours is in super nice condition, apparently, hence the price... Wait, you say "these", was it 100 for a pair of forks ?

In English a front fork is referred to as "forks" (as if you'd say: fourches for only one fourche); it's because a bicycle fork has two legs. That is why the English say "these". Just like they do with "a pair of trousers" (pantelon)
It's called Plural Tantum.

I just wonder what the English would call a Cannondale lefty: 'a Lefty fork' or 'Lefty forks'?

To be really pedantic, people may call 'them' 'forks' plural but 'it' is actually 'a' 'fork' singular...

...as in 'front fork', comprised of the 'fork legs' (NB. not forks legs) or 'rear fork' comprised of the seat and chain stays.

Much the same as people almost always refer to a Register Office (wherein works a Registrar) as a Registry Office...

...just because everyone says it doesn't make it right ;)

"shagged" ! I learned a word. Well, following one's instinct is a good thing. I nabbed a similar fork in similar condition (maybe better) for 40€ posted. It's my lucky day !
