Pogo
Retrobike Rider
*SOLD* Pace RC35 Air Balanced from 1993/4 if I remember correctly.
1-1/8" steerer 188mm long.
Good Bits.
I have had these forks from new and they are in fair to good nick for their age and usage. Stanchions nice and clean, kevlar/carbon very good with no gouges, nicks or scratches. Stickers original and pretty ok.
New elastomers fitted last year, hard rated.
Comes with original owners manual- though it is dog eared!
Spare rebound elastomers included in sale (not pictured).
Bad Bits.
Top of fork legs have marks from me driving out the legs from the crown, nicks really but they are there and picture included for you to judge.
Small nick in the outer seal of the left leg (pictured).
Missing one dust cap from the bottom, missing canti rocker.
And finally- the dropout in the left leg can be rotated in the kevlar shroud. It wont move up nor down and doesn't come out - but off the axle it can be spun around . I've ridden the past year and a half with it like that, no problem when the wheel locks in to place. Repairs can be carried out if you so wish- it's a pretty common job.
Also.
The original shim took a bit of a beating before it parted company with the Chris King baseplate- I reckon its usable and so it's included free with the sale.
Price for the forks- £45 posted SOLD
