How's it going with the 300 Ian? Still enjoying it?

To be honest since buying the Ibis I haven't used the 300 as much as I should have, been trying but failing miserable to make a few of the MTB national series events, was all ready to go to the Long Mynd event the other week on it but as seems to be the case nowadays life got in the way

There are a few updates to come in the next few weeks so watch this space & fingers crossed I can make the next RetroBIKE event

So, just waiting for a few more bits to turn up and I can start to make the changes to the 300 I've been planning over the last few months.

Found a NOS IRC El-Gato tyre on eBay a few weeks ago as one of the originals I had new with my RC200F8 in 1999 finally gave up the ghost after 15 years of abuse

Nah, the one in the picture is NOS, it's the tyres that I bought with my RC200 in 1999 that are 15 years old.
The wall on the one that was used on the rear has finally frayed and worn through, but fair play, I've had some use out of it.

I'm slowly changing the more modern parts to stuff that is more in keeping and slightly more period correct.

Modern lock-on ODI's swapped out for some NOS ODI Attack grips

Hope Tech M4's to be swapped for a set of Hope Mono Mini's

Yep, in black too Was sure I'd taken a photo of the bars to go up with the stem but can't find it in the library
