Pace RC200 F2 - what is the correct seat post diameter?

Does anyone know what is the correct seat post size for a Pace RC200 F2 frame?

As far as I know, they were all 29.4mm.

29.4 usually shimmer to 27.2 I think

I've got an F7 and mines definately a 29.4, but I had trouble finding a decent seatpost at this size so I've shimmed it, and stuck in a Moby 27.2.

Works a treat.

However I have tried an old 27.2 without a shim and even this seems too tight. I'm thinking it must be 27mm or less.

Can anyone else with a RC200 with the square seat tube tell me what size of post they have? For your info it is a 17" frame.

I don't really know but alot of stuff used to be 26.8,probably worth having it measured with a vernier.Don't know where you're based,if you were local I have 26.8,27.00 and 27.2 seatposts kickin about.

By F2 you mean the one with a square seat tube?

If so its a 27.0, just sold my F2 and used both a Suntour XC pro and a Syncros post, both 27.0

If its a later model, F5 onwards, from memory the seatpost increased to 29.4

Thanks for all your advice - yes it has square seat tube.

Looks like it could be 27mm. I will investigate further & post outcome.
