I was a very proud 14 year old who slid into the back of one similar to this when it's rider braked heavily at the Grundig mountain bike championship in Aviemore in 1989. I remember admiring it displayed on the front of an old white VW pick up at the event and drooling. Weirdly it cost about £1500 then too. Was gutted after finding that after coming first in the 14 and under category that due to not enough of us they mixed us in with the 18 and under category. 14 year old hero to zero in a single announcement.

Bump for a part of history.

I raced that very race too, I was 16, remember seeing these bikes there and thinking I wanted one. Now I'm selling as looking to fund another project.

Could I ask for a better picture of the seat clamp area, I know there can be issues around this part and it's a little hard to see in the photos

Also do you know what the frame number is?
