Hi, is their a thread around giving a rough cost of what Pace RC 100/200 bikes or frames would be worth in the present climate! As I am interested in trying to get another frame and I have been away from MTB for over 20 years then my knowledge of the market is poor so any advise from others would be good.
I do understand condition components and other factors can have a impact but even if it was based on a well used frame for a 100 or 200 Pace this information would be very helpful

Its mine guys - and has been listed for sale with several interested buyers but nothing that has gone through...

And now it didn't sell on ebay having been bid up to £870....

Have I got the pricing all wrong here? I thought £1500 was a bargain for this complete classic...

Thoughts?

I would have said that your pricing is in the right direction but your timing is wrong - just after christmas when everyone is broke, in the midst of the cold, wet and windy weather? Personally a £1500 retrobike, no matter how cool, is not number one priority. I would have thought spring would be a better time to sell this.

Also, as a traditionalist, I would be more tempted to buy this with it's associated history if it looked a little less bling and a little more 'team': standard maguras, loose the goldtec etc.
Or, as the bike is not 'catalogue spec' why not split it for far greater return. I am sure your average RC100 Team frame buyer is not the same as your avarege gold magura buyer or goldtec cassette type.

You should try powdercoating it white and slapping some Kona decals on it. Then some idiot is bound to have it
