For Sale is my much loved Pace RC 200 F2 which i have had for longer than i dare to remember and has given me some great off road riding in its time but is now used as my commuting to work bike which is why its set up as in the photo's.
It has XT Brakes, Cranks, BB, Rear Derauillaur , Rear Hub
Mavic Front Hub and Headset and both Rims, the rear rim being new and built only a few hundred road miles ago
FSA bars and stem
Ringle Moby Seatpost
Flight Titanium Seat
The cassette, chain and front spockets were new a few hundred road miles ago and are just deore rather than XT as its a road bike at the moment.
The tyres in the pictures will be replaced with a set of used Nobby Nics that i have and the lights computer and spd's are not included in the sale price.
Frame size is 49/50 cm from middle of crank to seatpost and 60 cm from seatpost to stem
Front rim is a Mavic 117 SUP and brand new rear one is a Mavic 317
Anyone looking at this advert will know that this mid 90's bike was one of the best and lightest race machines around and was about £2000 when new. The frame is in great condition still having the original shop sticker on and was built to last which is the PACE way of building bikes.
Good Points - Its a Pace RC 200 in polished aluminium, it has alot of good quality components, its still lighter than most £1000 new bikes today, it will go strong for another 15 plus years.the frame numbers are still intact to show it is genuine.
Not so good points - The forks are XC 35's and at moment have about 25-30 mm suspension which is great for road riding.I have some new elastomers that i found in the garage to go with the sale as does the RC07 grease gun which is full of grease.The bike has some scratches which i'm sure you'd expect after 15 years of off road riding but shines up nice still.
This is a genuine sad sale which i'm sure i'll regret, but at 46yrs i now have to have a full sus mtb for my back and i need the cash to buy a road bike to get some serious road training in.
