pace forks v brake mounts - solved

I have a pair of mounts that fit RC36 and thought these would fit some RC31 forks recently acquired.

This even suggests they are same http://www.shop.allthingsbikes.com/pace ... ed-silver/ but thinking and looking at this there is no obvious way of fitting them to RC31 without a lot of bending and some further research suggests that the mounts for RC31 were different and could be separated into 2 pieces thus

am I missing something here. And if not then does anybody have a spare set ? There is a set on ebay at the moment and Pace seem to be selling at £40 inc postage but thought I'd check on here that not getting my wires crossed and if anyone has any perhaps send me a pm.

I've used both kinds on RC31's, the one piece type do need to be opened/bent to let them pass over the dropouts, but once tightened back up in the right position they were fine.

cheers, I guess you wouldn't want to swap them too often given how much need bending but managed to source some of the split ones so problem solved.

Dunno how far youd need to bend then but yoiu did the right thing in getting two piece clamps.

hope not as the RC31 and RC36 I have are pretty much the same (~34mm) although not sure that over the years they didn't change with the different versions ?
