I picked up a rough set of RC35s today, the seemed to move freely up and down, opened them up and found this

What's the best way to get the remains of the old elastomers out?

If it's PACE there's only one guy I would personally ask, 'justbackdated'. It's a while (12 months or so) since I've been very active on here, but last time I was he was servicing pace forks and a gold mine of good advice :)

All done now but one of the stanchions is bent slightly, so I have another one on the way, bought off ebay for a fiver

Was looking for a thread on servicing a pace rc35 the other day! Thanks for sharing, great job.

It really does seem to be quite easy, the hardest bit was getting the elastomers, compressed enough to put them back together (I have gone for the extra hard ones) but a ratchet strap did the trick.
