I'm planning to sell my Pace watch. Bought in 1998 for £59.99, it comes with the original presentation box and tells good time. The leather strap is very good though not perfect, it has some slight cracking of the leather on the rear of the strap. As one might expect for a 16 year old watch I suppose! The watch itself is in excellent condition.

It has a carbon effect face, luminous hands, a Japanese movement and is rated as water resistant to 3ATM/150ft.

I've found one thread on retrobike pointing to an eBay auction where someone was asking £79 - which seems a bit steep as it cost £60 in the first place! But I really have no idea how much I should ask for it.

Any thoughts?

Re:

If it was me I'd stick it on eBay for 30 days buy it now at the top end of what you'd like, even if that's £80, but also use the best offer feature.

That if someone really wants it they'll pay your best price but you'll also get genuine lower offers.

Be patience and at least you'll get close to what it's 'worth'.
