P7 with P2's

Anyone done this?
Just acquired a nice P7 frame and want to go rigid.
Would love to go F7, but they seem to be increasingly rare.
I have a set of period correct P2's which I could have powder coated to match the frame.
Does the geometry work, as the F7's seem to have a slightly more curved profile, whilst the P2's look quite straight?

Re:

The P2 fork should be fine so long as the axle to crown measurement is compatible with what the frame was designed for.

Well as bikey quite rightly said although half an inch difference shouldn't look to bad and unlike suspension you don't have the worry of the geometry altering when seated on the bike or the forks bottoming out ..

Re:

No maybe not but it does make an uncomfortable ride, you can feel when a fork is too long for the frame its fitted to. P2s seem to of came in different lengths over the years. Probably about 420mm is your max for a p7 frame
