P2 fork question.

Hi, unsure if my pics took or not. P2 fork with the small twist in the dropouts. Normal??? Fork is NOS. Thanks everyone

Oh, ok. Mine came with the 93 hot I bought about 20 some odd years ago. The bike had a shock. This was just given to me as an extra. I think I actually mounted it on the bike just for a photo and took it off. As far as the twist, some sort of “lock washer” effect to keep the wheel tight??
 
I don't think its actually a twist, in that the inner faces are parallel. The outer indeed tapers to produce the lawyer lips.

One end of the dropout is bent. The inside face is not flush. It's actually more pronounced than in the pic. Given that we've both got similar quirks, I'd guess it's been there since production. Not much of an issue in use in my experience.

Taiwanese made konas don't have the greatest QC in my experience.
