* I've just looked the original wheels - keep the hubs, maybe the rims and get them rebuilt. They can be made into QR as well.

Heres how mine ended up - I never got to the point where I had the M700 hubs

That other green peak finder is mine. And yes it all looks the same to me. same lugs, same peg pump behind the seat tube, same cable stops on the lugs rather than down tube & same cable runs above the bb. Full 531 mine sports a Reynolds 1935 - 1985 badge. It's also short. A lot shorter than any other eighties bike I own (and I own a few...). Short in the top tube & shorter chainstay than others. also has a higher bottom bracket. They completely got this bike design right, it rides unlike any other and is a complete hooligan. You'll love it.

could i have some close ups of the decals on the overburys please.
i will need them for when i get the decals done.

I managed to order the decals off Gil m today. I just need to decide on a colour for the frame.
I also have some nice mavic rims to lace the hubs to.

These just turned up fresh from Gil m.
I know they are not the same font as the cross fell decals. But this is really just about giving this bike an identity.
Next week will probably be powdercoating. There is a place in St helens which looks good.
I am thinking candy apple red.
I will keep this updated from time to time.
