Outlook express & Hotmail problem - SORTED

Since the last windows update I can no longer access Hotmail through Outlook Express, authentification error of my password.

Anybody else have this problem and / or a solution :?

EDIT: Sorted, needed a patch for https authentification. Bloody Windows :roll:

I did do, try using IE(internet explorer) and access www.hotmail.com direct

I like access through Outlook Express, only old hotmail accounts and paying subscribers can use it in Outlook Express. I think you can use Outlook now though with some add on, probably brings up a load of pop up adverts though.

emails are stored on my hdd so always have access, no adverts and its quick, unlike using hotmail direct, its so sllloooooowwww since all this "live" rubbish, freinds status etc etc, i just want email

plus i have all my other email accounts stored so it's all in one place.

Anyway, it's all sorted now
