Hi,

I'm after a 44 or 46 tooth outer chainring, 5 arm to go on a set of XT cranks from the early 1990s. Must be in very good condition and shiny silver.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but I'm after something in a better condition really, and 48t is too big. I'm replacing the black 46 t ring on my current cranks to go with a new build.

Anyone else?

Hi,

I've got some 110mm bcd rings kicking around that are new - will check out what sizes they are in the morning and update the thread tomorrow morning.

Hi,

The only chainring I have that has a "shiny silver" finish in 44 or 46T is a used Specialites TA Zephyr 46T. It was fitted to a crankset on a bike I broke for some parts so I cannot be certain of the amount of use or mileage covered. The finish of the ring is still in very good order although it does have a few marks that would be expected for a used chainring. It is missing the pin that prevents the chain from dropping down the back of the crankarm.

As I do not know much about the ring and exactly how much life is left in it how does £5 posted sound?

Cheers

Jules
