C'mon... What frame is it...?

:?: :?: :?:

Stumpy ally one - I'll need to clean of god knows how much dust n dirt till i can pin point it!

The all important line in your OP is '...reckon it's too small.'

Therefore it must be pretty close to being not too small?

My red Wot frame is smaller than the blue one, but with a longer seatpost and stem the dimensions are identical (BB to seat rails and saddle nose to bar) and thus fits like the proverbial glove

You obviously have more than one bike, so spend all your time admiring it but ride another because 'It's taken so long to find it, and it means so much that you got it for me that I don't want to ruin it' and matrimonial harmony will continue unabated... ;)

Sack her....

The potential for social embarrasment caused by her inability to correctly judge length and distance, is just not worth the risk

;)

what do you do when the other half gets you a bike? Worse still it's one i actually want - only catch is i reckon it's too small ><

Isn't that payback for the power drill you got her for her birthday??

Maybe she intends riding it instead just to rub it in ;)

It would quite frankly piss me off when I consider the care and attention I take to ensure her presents are exactly what she wants - I even raid her underwear drawer to make sure the presents are the right size. Why the hell doesn't she know how to measure the top tube and seat tube correctly to get the right size? Typical! :p

PMSL :)

it would seem i'm safe if it doesn't fit, she got it from an American friend - no BS sticker on it and the brakes were the wrong way round (found that one out pretty quick!) so more of a lucky coincidence than real belated thought out birthday present!

Some back ache from an hours blast on it this afternoon - seat post at max so it'll need a longer one for me to try it properly.

It's an M2 Duralcan almost entirely original bar tyres, from the GF's friend it's seen about 100 miles:shock: I need to tweak a few thinks (13 - 30 cassette which I'm not keen on and a longer seatpost i guess)
