Refurbished my original Rockshox RS1 forks, no leaks, perform really well, I'm just wondering what sort of price to ask for them now? Any ideas anyone and if you're interested then fire a number at me, any questions about sizes etc I'll endeavour to answer ASAP
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Is it still available?

Hi,
I know its been a while since you posted it, but is the fork still available? If so! Have you a number in mind?
Kind regards
Morten

Hi I understand that its been a while since you posted this but can you tell me if there are air valves on each leg, I've been asked to look at a set of forks and owner insists that they are as are and nothing is missing but I'm pretty sure an air valve assembly is missing as I can see right down into the fork leg. Thanks for your time

Yes, "rubber" air valves should be in there, you could easily start a nice new post asking the question.
Manuals etc in the Archive section, incl blow out diagrams and service instructions.

Thanks for replying, in the end i just used a 1 inch ahead star nut in the leg with a rubber bung screwed to it. I did this because I couldn't find a valve anywhere also not helped by the model number being RS - 1 which is also the model number of later model. Anyway I tightened the bung with the forks fully extended and pumped up other fork leg to mid range of the pressure scale. Therefore the none pressurised leg is at atmospheric pressure plus a bit of compression when sitting on board. It rides surprisingly well with hardly any deflection and its only only to do odd green lanes and roads riding.
