Dirt Disciple
Thinking about selling my recently refurbished Orbit illusion, mid 80 reynolds 653 frame /forks.
Mostly 105 components, new wheels (Rigida rims on 105 hubs with gatorskin tyres)build by David Hunt of DCRwhhels no more than 50 miles. Had it stripped and powder coated in yellow.
This is my first road bike but decided its not for me,will stick to hybrid/mountain bike.
Must of spent £600 on this bike what do you think I might get back? may swap for a mountain bike./frame forks?

It may just be lens distortion but the close clearance between the front tyre and the frame, plus what appears to be a near vertical drop of the fork suggests to me that it's had a bit of a front-ender at some time. Is its handling very twitchy?

Re:

a view from the other side any better?,Owned from new by my brother no front end impact,as for twitchy not that I noticed, I have got flat bars on at the moment as I did not get on with the drop bars.

That camera angle is much better, wide-angle lenses always distort which can make things look odd. That looks fine!

Hmm, the frame and forks is probably £150, so say £250 all up, sold individually as parts then perhaps £300.
