Hi folks.
Up for sale is my beautiful early 90s 531 Competition framed Orbit. Frame size is 58cm square. It's got a full Shimano 600 tricolour groupset, including the hubs. The wheels are 36 spoke with Mavic Reflex SUP rims in a cool looking ice blue finish. Headset is also Shimano 600, but without the tricolour stripes.
Handlebars are 44cm Cinelli, stem is SR, saddle a Charge Spoon, and the seatpost is a no name ebay special that fitted and suited. The Deda bar tape matches the saddle well, as do the brown brake cables outers I found. The gear cable outers are black Shimano with brown heatshink over the top.
Selling because it's too big for me really. By fitting a short stem I made it fit - just about - but it was always too compromised really. I love the 600 tricolour groupset, and intended to keep it and transfer it to a more modern frame I recently acquired. I'd then sell the frameset and wheels etc separately.
However, it turned out I needed long drop brakes for it, and couldn't bear to split the 600 as it's in really good condition. Thought I'd see if anyone on here is interested before I stick it on ebay. Offers around £300 please. I've got a bike box, so can pack it up and send it, but in the UK only. I'd imagine this would cost £20-£25, but will look into it if need be
