Orange top tube

Hi, I've had a search in here and the internet, but can't find details of top tube lengths for 93 - 94 Orange Prestige Vs P7 Vs Clockwork in 17" & 19" sizes. Thrilling stuff, I know, but would be grateful for any help!

Cheers Rob

My 92 19" is 22" c to c and from memory it's the same for 93, where as my 94 19" E2 is 22.5".

Pretty sure the Clockwork, Prestige and P7 had the same geometry in any given year (although there wasn't much cross over between the Prestige and P7)? Different model years changed a fair bit though, especially 88/91.

Thanks @brocklanders023 - if that's the case, then it is more the difference (if any) between a 17" and a 19" top tube for 93 models, as that will influence what size I may choose!

Most 17s were 21.5, 19s 22.

As a rule 90s mtbs were half an inch different between frame sizes (at 2")
Orange was no exception.

It's amazing how 12mm length radically changes the feel of a bike - there's usually 20mm available on the rails, and 30mm with a stem swap, but if the toptobe doesn't suit you, it never feels quite right.

Yes, I had seen a 17" Prestige frame and desperately wanted to buy it, but I'm pretty sure I need a 19" based on past bikes. Having said that, I remember using a friends 19" Lava Dome ('91 I think) that stretched me too far, but Kona were noted for long top tubes
