Orange P7 rigid fork length? 1999 era

I've a p7 frame from about 1998/9, I'd like to fit some rigid forks. What length would they be axle to crown. I've a feeling mine are too long or too short for it. Same with suspension.
I have searched but a few answers will help. Cheers :idea:

Had a set of 420mm P2's on mine, they don't take a very long fork.

Thanks Steve, I've either got v brake only 400mm or my DMR Olly Wilkins forks which are about 435 I think.
