Orange P7 e-commuter

Rolling chassis achieved. Treated myself to some daft bars and fitted the comfiest saddle I own. It’s looking a bit mental.

Love the bars. Got around to fitting the motor yet? Still excited to see the outcome.

Looks like it is going to be a sturdy build and there's no shame in an ebike. They have their place, you'll still get a bit of exercise, be less polluting over other motorised alternatives and get some fresh air.

Roger that! :D

That doesn't look like a lot of kit for a motor ...er...kit. Does it all fit within the BB and chainwheel?

In and around the BB. Check out the links above.

Still waiting for the battery for this... will crack on once it arrives.

Excitingly, the battery has just arrived. And the kids are at my mum's. Everything else is now on hold.

Battery is on charge. Checked it with a voltmeter and it already seems to be putting out a decent voltage but...

Started installation following this guide: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/manuals/TSDZ2.pdf

Problem #1:

Chainstay clearance issue. Not much in it. Could use a spacer... but if anything the chainring is already sitting a bit too far to the right. Might have to get the hammer out...
