Orange P7 1994 Re build

Hi, just started stripping my P7, bought it new from Barretto's at Plymstock Plymouth back in '94. It's a great bike but, started to get rust spots on the damaged Nickle plating, always washed and cleaned it after every ride, lasted really well. Time now to put some cash into her. Need to get her replated or powder coated, I was told it's really difficult to polish the frame to a good standard for the plating. Any one polished a frame to a high standard??

Got to be nickle plate on a p7 of that vintage

I'm sitting tight waiting for a 19" to come up for sale, so I can replace the one I foolishly sold in 98. I miss that bike soooo much

To nickle or not to nickel, that is the question

Yes think I'm going to have to search a bit further away from home for the frame polish! Had a quote of £125 for the shot blast and the plating but, I need a really good finish on the polishing operation.

Yep, going for nickle!
Keep on looking on the web for a frame polisher, think the cost of buying the equipment and doing myself would be to expensive for a one off.
